[edit] Basic Information

Time and Date
Friday, January 22rd 2010, 5PM through Thursday, January 28th 2010, 10PM

Yep, that's right. We are looking at the longest continuous crisis camp to date. The primary organizer will be on-site ( or nearby ) from 10 am until 8 pm each day beginning on Saturday January 23 and ending Thursday January 28th. Our goal ( see below ) is a bit different than most crisis camps in that we hope to deploy a production ready, fully featured product at the end of the camp. Having adopted the Drupal framework for the project, it now seems much more feasible.

Goal for this Crisis Camp
Disaster Accountability Database - from inception to production in a week For this project our developer needs appear to be met but we specifically need:

  • non-technical volunteers to help enter information about aid organizations providing relief in Haiti
  • non-technical volunteers to help test the usability of the system and provide feedback in the rapid development cycle
