[edit] Project Support - Chicago Camp Communications

Project Wiki: This project will support the Crisis Camp Chicago Group efforts by creating and implementing repeatable communication processes and a comprehensive communication plan that encompasses internal and external audiences that leverages all medias with identified owners for on-going execution. This group will also act as liaison to the global Crisis Commons Communications Team to coordinate messaging and implement standards.
Participation: Skills needed as follows:
  • Internal Chicago Camp Support : Wiki updates, blogging, cross Camp and Commons team communications and coordination, process design and documentation.
  • External Support: Owner(s) for media channels to assist in developing messaging and cultivate media partners in local and global news through television, newspaper and media channels. We will also be leveraging professional industry and student networks so volunteers with affiliate memberships and/or contacts will be sought to assist in developing targeted messages and broadcasting.
Lead: Kim Pecylak, pecylak@sbcglobal.net
Volunteers: Christine Wald
Status: Team is forming with initial focus primarily on enabling the Chicago Camp. Initial drafts of project charter and communication plan created and published (Google Docs). Tentative list of activities for 2/13 camp event:
