Kiran, Neha translate Urdu BBC:
1. Bridges and Roads are flooded at لوئردیر (luyedir?) http://www.bbc.co.uk/urdu/multimedia/2010/09/100902_flood_dir_bridges.shtml Most of the damage due to floods at لوئردیر is to roads and bridges. Khazana Bypass bridge..the pillars are damaged. The bridge at Balampad is half submerged in water. People are walking a long distance after the bridge has broken. People are complaining that the bridge is not being re-built, and it is extremely tough to cross using vehicles. In Kalangai area, there is another bridge called 'Japan Bridge', which is broken. There are long lines of vehicles trying to cross over the few bridges not affected. Jagtara's Markesi bridge is like the backbone of the region. There has been a lot of traffic on this bridge for the last two weeks. People are complaining that the main bridges need to be in good condition, as they are the lifelines. People have to wait for hours to cross the bridges due to the rush. The lines on both sides of the bridges can be upto 3-4 km; the vehicles are let out from each side at intervals of 15-20mins.
2. People affected and looking for relief from flood's devastation http://www.bbc.co.uk/urdu/pakistan/2010/08/100824_pak_floods_as.shtml Khairpur Nathan Shah zyrab in Sindh is very much affected by the floods. Juhi Dadu district has received a warning to vacate. Kot and Dadu in Sindh districts are affected. Rawalpindi division of Punjab, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Hyderabad and Mirpurkhas, Sindh - more rain is expected.
