An easy-to-search, publicly generated, data-driven application to monitor the activities and effectiveness of organizations soliciting donations for disaster relief.

2/4/10: Crisis Camps in NYC and Calgary (hopefully) will be working on related tech and non-tech projects this weekend. More help is needed!

1/30/10: WEBSITE NOW LIVE! Now we need lots of tech and non-tech assistance! Please see needs below.


1/21/10: A team will be developing in Austin, TX beginning Friday and continuing until the following Thursday. We currently have the following:

  • donated space for developers to work
  • donated hosting space with www.slicehost.com
  • donated project management tool from www.unfuddle.com
  • some donations of food
  • more than a dozen volunteer developers who are covering all of the known needs at this point

  • we need volunteers with expertise in Drupal, Linux, and LAMP for our site launch. Please contact tech contact below to get involved.
  • non-technical volunteers to help gather/research/enter independent information on non-profit relief organizations working in Haiti to seed the database. Please contact non-tech contact below to get involved.
