Welcome to the CrisisCommons wiki, a collaborative space to organize projects and efforts around disaster relief, starting with the Haiti Earthquake of 2010 (full project description)

A wiki is simply a web site where anyone can edit any page at any time.

  • You don't need to be a tech expert
  • You don't need to learn the HTML language of the Web.
  • Simply click on the "edit" tab on any page, and start adding or changing information.

Learn the golden rule of wikis

  • BE BOLD! Wikis encourage you to act first, edit later. Nothing can be permanently destroyed when you edit a wiki -- there's infinite undo. Add information, ask a question, initiate a project. Don't be shy.
  • Help with Wiki cleanup. When it comes to fixing the existing information it's even more important to just be bold!
